
Crime, Cities and Colombia’s Peace Process: Negotiations with Criminal Groups and Urban Peace Consolidation

Session description: This session will provide an opportunity to discuss how dialogue and mediation can be applied in urban contexts impacted by violent youth gangs – and how urban peace processes link to national level peace and mediation efforts. Examples from different contexts, including the roles of different local peace actors and international support actors, will be discussed and lessons shared.
