Teaching and training peace mediation in times of change: blind spots and new avenues

Session Description: This session aims to fertilise experiences and allow for a candid discussion between such academic and professional training providers addressing questions such as:

  • What training methods and techniques are popular/effective? Are these still relevant?

  • What are our blind spots? How can we look into the horizon and integrate challenges in our horizons ? How can we, and should we adapt to new challenges?

  • How do we address decolonialisation in our methods and teaching?

  • How can feminist foreign policy be mainstreamed into training methods?

  • Are we training the right people? How should/can participants be selected?

  • Do new technologies, such as AI present new opportunities?
