Mediating the digital frontlines of conflict: Exploring Impact, Opportunities and Partnerships for Mediation

Session Description: In this session, participants will engage with a fictional scenario based on real-world experience from Libya, Lebanon, Cameroon, and Thailand. They will address digital threats including disinformation campaigns, targeted harassment of mediators, and the use of deepfakes and manipulated media to deceive fragile communities. The session will explore emerging needs, challenges, and opportunities for cross-sector collaboration to address online challenges.
